Welcome to the Newtown Social Club web site. The Club is located in the village of Halling, near Rochester, Kent.

The Club's current premises in Formby Road were formally opened in April 1984 after our original building, which we had occupied for some 60 years, was demolished to make way for the Snodland/Halling Bypass (A228). Click here for our location.

We are a family club, affiliated to the CIU and we like to think that we combine a pub atmosphere with the benefits of club prices. We are large enough to support functions, but when we partition off the function room from the main clubroom at less busy times, we enjoy an intimate and friendly pub-like environment.

There are a number of regular activities at Newtown Social Club. We currently have thriving darts and pool sections with other games and events held in the function room.

WANTED: Bar Staff. Bar staff are required for the Newtown Social Club, either full or part time. Please contact the Club for more information. Experience of bar work would be useful, but it isn't vital as full training will be given.
